Seeking Artists for October Showcase Apply by October 8!

Art is a powerful tool for education, communication, and catalyzing positive change. To highlight how art and policy can work together for a brighter, more equitable Sunshine State, Florida Policy Institute (FPI) will host an art showcase and panel discussion on Tuesday, October 24 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Historic Lyric Theater in Miami, FL.

The art showcase will highlight creators whose art connects to policy, history, advocacy, racial equity, a vision of shared prosperity, or other themes from The Florida Timeline. The panel discussion will bring together artists and researchers to share analytical and artistic perspectives on the past, the present, and future of our policy decisions.

FPI is seeking:

  • 5-10 visual artists who want to showcase and sell their art during the event.
  • 2 artists for the panel who can share about their experience connecting art and advocacy; stipend provided.
